Horse Lingo had the pleasure of talking with Sherry Frankel about her multi-award winning stallion, Its Double ODeuce. Sherry has owned this amazing athlete since he was almost three, where he was started in harness with Dan Flowers at her farm in Texas, S.G.F. Winning Ways Farm. Its Double ODeuce won the Will Shriver Five Gaited Stallion class this year at The UPHA American Royal for the fourth year in a row, and was Reserve National Grand Champion in Five Gaited National Championship. Not only has he been a winner in the Five Gaited division, but Its Double ODeuce has proven his all-around athleticism, winning in the Park and Harness divisions as well. Sherry shared with me that she was once asked when her favorite time he showed was, and she replied The next time, meaning that he continues to get even better every time he shows.
Sherry could not say enough good things about Its Double ODeuces trainer, Melissa Moore and the devotion she has given him. Interestingly, he greets Melissa with a certain whinny and Sherry with another! Sherry is seeing his kind disposition, head, neck and ears in his babies and is excited to see them in the show ring soon! Congratulations to Sherry Frankel and Melissa Moore on the continued success of this fabulous stallion.
